Welcome to the web page of Laetitia Mony

• Since January 2017, I have been an INSERM permanent researcher in Pierre Paoletti's Lab at IBENS.
• I did my post-doc in the Isacoff Lab at the University of California at Berkeley (Berkeley, CA, USA).
• I graduated July 2nd, 2010. I did my PhD in both Francine Acher's lab, at University Paris Descartes, and in Pierre Paoletti's lab, at IBEns.
• My work is related to the structure-function relationships of ion channels and receptors, especially on NMDA receptors. During my PhD, I studied at the molecular level the binding sites and the mechanisms of action of allosteric modulators that selectively modulate NMDA receptors containing the GluN2B subunit. I am currently developing optical techniques to investigate NMDA receptor function and physiology (see the H2020 Marie Sklodowska-Curie project OptoNMDA.
